Next week, The Latino Heritage Film Festival continues into it's second week with three new movies showing during lunch. Showing In P2 will be La Bamba, the story of the rise and fall of rock and roll pioneer Ritchie Valens. In H7, the biopic Selena will be shown. The film documents the true story about the life and career of the famous 90's pop star. And in F6, Stand and Deliver will be showing. The film follows the story of Jaime Escalante, a high school teacher who successfully inspired his dropout prone students to learn calculus. Stand and Deliver and La Bamba are PG-13 and requirepermission slips. Extra permission slips can be found in the front office and outside of F-10.
