ANNOUNCEMENTS 10-9-17

Teachers, Do you know a student who ALWAYS has their nose in a book and consistently dresses up as book characters for Halloween? Someon Who would rather read than do just about anything else and read 10 books this summer alone? 

If you answered yes, please consider nominating this student for recognition as a Jordan Remarkable Reader! Each student nominated will get the chance to have their picture taken with their favorite book for their very own READ poster!

Nominations are open now through October 13th through a link on Schoology.

Please only nominate students you feel are truly deserving of this honor, as we want this to be a really special recognition of the value of reading and literacy. Thanks!

On Wednesday, October 25th. Kate Milford, the author of the award-winning mystery novel Greenglass House, will be visiting Jordan to talk about being an author and her new book, Ghosts of Greenglass House. 

Teachers who would like to bring their 6th period classes, should fill out the online form.

The YCS club will meet this Thursday in B-5, not B-8 like previously stated. This will be the same every Thursday from now on. We apologize for this mistake.
