Regarding air quality, Sensitive groups include those with asthma or other breathing issues including allergies. Teachers can do a few things to help. First, teachers are asked to keep classroom windows and doors closed. Second, for rooms that have air conditioning, the units should be set to re-circulate to prevent outside air from moving inside. Also, because of the smoke, students will be kept inside during PE classes, and the MPR as well as other indoor spaces will be open during lunch and brunch. Students and staff are encouraged to drink lots of water, and limit outdoor activity all throughout the day.
