Greene needs pictures from outgoing 8th graders of all the good times had while at Greene for the slide show at the grad party!
Students should email 2 favorite photos to j-erlich4 at gmail dot com by Thursday, May 2nd. It's time to give away more passes to see the San Jose Spiders ultimate frisbee team.
This week's question is, Who is the owner and manager of the San Jose Spiders. Students can submit their answers to announcements at greene middle school dot tv along with their full name. Winners announced on Thursday can pick up their passes at the front desk.
All students at Greene are encouraged to walk, bike, skate, ride the bus/shuttle or carpool to reduce the congestion in the school zone, making the streets safer for everyone. There will be 3 stations distributing raffle tickets and fruit snacks for everyone arriving by alternate transportation including carpool, bus and walking.
Also happening tomorrow is the "Pop Up" Bike Fair. Come on out to the field tomorrow at lunch. There will be a bike stunt rider, bike spin-art and also, for 8th graders pedal the bike blender to make smoothies!
One last thing to all bike riders, check out their new bike repair stations set up at Middlefield and N California bike cages! There will be a Greene Screen instructional video coming soon!
"Asian Pacific Heritage Month Film Festival" starts next week! Starting next Monday, April 29th, Greene will have movies like My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Moana, Mulan, Life of Pi, and more playing in classrooms throughout the school during lunch.
Please note that PG-13 films will require a permission slip to view.
