Attention all 8th graders. Are you interested in playing football at PALY next year? On Monday May 6th, there will be a parent meeting at in the Media Suite at PALY for next seasons parents. This is a great opportunity to have your parents meet with the coaches and become familiar with the people involved in the program.
There will also be a training session on May 17th and 18th at PALY, and we will have more information on that in the coming days.
If you have any questions, please see Coach Rode in C3.
The last book fair of the year is almost here! The Greene spring book fair will be held in the Library Classroom during the week of May 13 - 17. The fair will be open before school, during brunch and lunch, after school, AND the evening of Open House! And as always, The Greene spring fair is a BOGO fair! That means that for every item students purchase at the fair, they will get a second item of equal or lesser value completely FREE! Something new this year, is the ability to pay using a preloaded account that parents can create for students, prior to the fair. The new feature is called e-wallet! To find out more, visit http://www.scholastic.com/bf/greenemiddleschool and students can have their parents set up an account and load up some money so they can do all of their summer book shopping without having to remember to bring cash to school!
